North Marion defeated Robert C. Byrd on Tuesday, 13-0.
Leading the surge for the Huskies was Keegun McCullough, who went 3-4 with two doubles and four RBIs.
Skylar Brooks and Cody Opron each went 2-3 with two RBIs; Jacob Brunett and Ryan Jolliffe went 2-3; Travis Smith went 2-3 with two RBIs; and Jon Tomana was 1-3.
Earning the win on the mound was Quinton Hill, who went all five innings, while allowing just four hits.
“The kids they just hit the ball. I just can't explain it. Every one of them were hitting the ball; we had 14 hits,” North’s head coach Vic Seccuro said.
With the win, North improves to 3-19 on the season.
The Huskies will host East Fairmont today at 7 p.m.
“Big game against East — we're going to try to get them back,” Seccuro said.
