Bears rout Bridgeport in boys lacrosse, 11-1

West Fairmont’s boys’ lacrosse team had its way with Bridgeport Wednesday.
The Polar Bears defeated the Indians, 11-1, in Bridgeport’s first lacrosse game in school history.
Vinnie Romano, Johnny Leon and Travis DeVault all scored two goals to lead West Fairmont.
Louie Roman, Brad Cox, Adam Angeline, Nate Freeland and David Bonazza all added one goal each for the Bears.
Tyler Ross earned the win in goal, making 12 saves.
The Polar Bears will return to action tonight at East-West Stadium against Allerdice, Pa., at 6 p.m.
