Ice, Myers earn spots on Class AAA All-State team

— Mike Ice and Maverick Myers helped carry the load for their respective teams this season, though each went about it a bit differently.
Ice was again his staff’s ace, starting most of Fairmont Senior’s biggest games and often coming out on top.
Myers, meanwhile, followed a strong freshman season at North Marion with a better sophomore campaign, starring on the infield and on the mound.
Both were honored with spots on the Class AAA All-State baseball team selected by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
Ice was one of four pitchers to make the first team, while Myers was a second-team selection.
