East Fairmont’s girls’ basketball team played its first game since mid-December Saturday. It would have been hard to notice.
The Bees showed little rust, routing Liberty (Harrison), 58-28.
The victory improves their record to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the Big 10.
Mikayla Moore led the Bees with 18 points.
“She got in a rhythm early and stayed in a rhythm,” coach James Beckman said. “She’s getting more comfortable each game. We’re going to need that out of her down the stretch.”
The senior guard was joined in double figures by three other Bees. Bailey Frederick had 13 points, Felicity VanGilder had 11 and Brooklynn Weaver added 10.
East Fairmont will hit the road this week, playing against Grafton, Elkins and St. John’s Catholic of Maryland.
