FAIRMONT — The Polar Bears came into East-West Stadium with a goal of improving their passing game. They left with a passing attack that gained 319 yards and four touchdowns and a 62-14 victory over North Marion.
Fairmont Senior coach J.L. Abbott wanted to get his team better passing the ball. The game plan was simple, and it seemed to have worked for the Polar Bears.
“We definitely threw the ball better than we did in Week 1,” Abbott said.
Quarterback Austin Norman put the Polar Bears on top first with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Ryder Sharzinski on the team’s first drive of the game.
