No. 4 NMHS uses post play to rout Philip Barbour

RACHEL — No. 4 North Marion received solid post play from two of its seniors en route to a 75-40 thrashing of Philip Barbour at North Marion High School Thursday night.

Both Anna Marie Moscufo and Noca Singleton turned in double-doubles for the Lady Huskies with 21 points and 12 points, respectively. Each snagged 10 rebounds, also.

North Marion used a 21-5 run that stretched from the final three minutes of the first quarter into the first two minutes of the second to take a commanding lead.

Philip Barbour was led by Cassandra Triplett with 10 points.

The Lady Huskies move to 13-2 overall and 6-1 in the Big 10 Conference. The ladies are back in action on Tuesday to take on No. 2 Fairmont Senior at home for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
