They say that high school is the best times of your life.
It’s a time where you meet new friends. It’s a time to play sports, and it’s a time to just go and have some fun.
Well, for East Fairmont’s right fielder, Easton Jimmie, high school was a time to prove something to himself. Although he had something to prove, it wasn’t academics, it wasn’t to get a girlfriend, it was to prove to himself that he was a top-tier baseball player who could make a name for himself in the high school ranks.
“I was on a mission from day one,” Jimmie said. “I had to prove to myself that I could hit and play well, but I was also trying to have fun with the boys. I wanted to enjoy it along the way.”
