Bees’ golfers play crisp in home opener

WHITE HALL — 39, 41, 42 and 43.

Those are the scores of East Fairmont’s top four golfers following its dominating home-opening win over Bridgeport and Liberty on Thursday at Apple Valley.

“These guys have worked hard all summer long,” East Fairmont’s head coach Bill Malone said. “All that we’ve done for the first couple of days was have qualifiers and let them play. They came out here and did what they were supposed to do. I’m really proud of them. They shot really well for it being the first day.”

Though the scores are impressive on a par-38 course, the numbers were jumbled.
