East Fairmont’s girls’ basketball team suffered a 59-41 loss at Bridgeport Saturday.
Mikayla Moore scored a team-high 15 points all in the second half. Brooklynn Weaver and Felicity VanGilder each netted six.
The difference, East Fairmont coach James Beckman said, was the second quarter in which the Bees scored just five points.
“We had our chances. We’re just having a tough time putting four quarters together,” he said. “When you play teams of this caliber, you’ve got to play every possession like it’s the last one.”
The Bees will host Philip Barbour Tuesday.
