East Fairmont Junior High boys’ basketball team took home two more wins Monday night against Fairview Middle.
The seventh grade boys won, 36-9, with Garrett Droppleman scoring 10 and Garrett Wilkerson adding eight for the Hornets. Fairview was lead by Justin Clelland with four points. The EFJH Hornets won the 8th grade game, 50-26. Isaac Jenkins led the way in a balanced attack with seven points, and Garrett Oates, Jacob Stewart, Nick Stinespring, and David Perkins each added six. The Fairview Indians were led by Holden Santee with 13 and Trenton Brookover pitched in 11.
Over the weekend, EFJH split a pair with Washington Irving.
The Hornets won the seventh grade game, 57-20, behind Aaron Broadwater and Corey Fluharty each with 11 and Nate Gerau with 10. Eighth grade dropped a 45-44 overtime decision to WI. Jesse Maddox pitched in 14 and Alex Harvey added 12.
EFJH Hornets will be back in action on Wednesday night at home against Robert L. Bland Middle School starting at 5:45 p.m.
