FAIRMONT — Despite the constant rain that drizzled onto the surface of the Fairmont Field Club greens on Friday morning, Fairmont Senior was able to bring its A-game.

During the Polar Bears’ home-opener, they were led by their four top golfers in Bailey Mohr, Gage Hannah, Logan Orton and Anthony Alvaro.

Here, Mohr and Hannah tied for second with a 39 on a par-35, while Alvaro and Orton had 43s. With all four scores being added to FSHS’s total, they were able to shoot a team combined 164.

“I’m pleasantly surprised of what we showed today,” Fairmont Senior’s Luke Corley said following the match.
