It’s that time of the year.
The 2012 soccer season is now a thing of the past.
And among those who will leave a lasting legacy is Charleston Catholic’s Sam Revercomb, who notched 36 goals this season while pacing his team to a fourth straight state championship.
“Sam was instrumental in helping our team this year,” said Charleston Catholic head coach Sam Fox. “For four years, he’s been a unique player for the program at Charleston Catholic.”
Now he’s been named captain of the Class AA-A all-state team as chosen by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association.
In a 5-0 victory over Fairmont Senior in the state title game, Revercomb capped his strong career with a goal, which pushed his career total to 87.
