Shutting ’em down.
North Marion’s stud sophomore pitcher Skyler Brooks blew the Preston Knights away on Tuesday evening, 4-1.
During the game, Brooks was in total dominance.
The Huskies’ starting catcher, Keegan McCullough would call the pitch and then Brooks would deliver.
“That’s the best Skyler has ever pitched,” North Marion’s head coach Vic Seccuro said. “He wanted to go all the way and we let him. The results were great.”
When the game was complete, Brooks finished with a total of nine strikeouts while allowing only three hits — all of which were in the first three innings.
“Everything was working,” Brooks said.
