Bears blast Lincoln; North wins two more: PHOTOS

FAIRMONT — Needless to say, Thursday’s Fairmont Senior-Lincoln baseball game failed get off to the best of starts because the game didn’t start on time.

Set for 5 p.m., things didn’t get going until more than two hours later at Mary Lou Retton Park due to a scheduling mix-up.

Other than that, though, it was business as usual for the Polar Bears.

They got a gem from starter Bailey Mohr and more than enough offense en route to a 10-0, six-inning victory.

Fairmont Senior, No. 3 in the latest Class AA state rankings, ripped 14 hits to help improve to 9-3.
