FAIRMONT — It was all Fairmont Senior Thursday at East West Stadium as the two city rivals squared off for city pride.

In the girls’ game, Ivey Nucilli netted three goals in the first half en route to a 7-2 victory. Along with Gabi Mascaro and Ashley Keefover’s goals, the Lady Polar Bears took a 5-0 halftime lead.

Avery Towns netted two goals in the second half to put her team up 7-0. East Fairmont’s Torree Ridgway and Chloe Timmins each added goals late in the game for East to bring the final to 7-2.

The boys game saw less offense and more defense, as the Polar Bears hashed out a 1-0 victory over the Bees.

Ryan Rosier scored the game’s lone goal with 37.5 seconds left in the first half.

The Polar Bears would go on the defensive and were able to grind out a victory.
