BRIDGEPORT — Fairmont Post 17 rolled past Charleston Power on Saturday night, 10-5.

In the blowout, Post 17 was led by former Polar Bear gunner — Brandon Plivelich.

In his 5.2 innings that he dealt, Plivelich was in command of all of his pitches. He was able to fire his curveball for a strike. That followed with a changeup and for his “good-night” pitch was a fastball that he would bury on the outer half of the plate that made the Power hitters look silly.

“It was the first time that I pitched in a while. My arm was feeling good, and my fastball was working along with my other pitches,” Plivelich said. “I hit the spots when I needed to, and I was able to get some strikeouts.”
