The East Fairmont Bees sang the call-and-response tune until it came time for the encore.
After matching the Liberty Mountaineers drive for drive, the Bees were able to score when it mattered most.
With time winding down, and the Bees down 21-14, East quarterback Jake Delaney threw a 25-yard strike into double coverage. Senior Scotty Shroyer went up in between two defenders and came down with the ball, igniting the Bees' sideline.
With the first possession in overtime, the Bees ran what looked like the exact same play, but with single coverage. Shroyer made the play once again to give the Bees their first lead of the game.
It would be all they would need to win as the defense would hold Liberty on the next, and last, possession to force an incomplete pass in the end zone.
Shroyer finished with 8 catches for 195 yards and two scores to led the Bees.
East Fairmont moves to 1-0 and will have a bye week next week.
