Marshall Lowry is very familiar with playing at the River City Grille. The Marion County native considers the venue his “home base,” said manager and promoter Scott Sears.
Friday, River City Grille will host a “friendraiser” and pig roast to raise money and see Lowry off to an audition for the 2014 season of NBC’s “The Voice” television show. The Marshall Lowry Band will perform throughout the evening.
“It’s going to be a fun, fun atmosphere,” Sears said.
Lowry has been performing since the tender age of 6, when he played with his father at the Sagebrush Round-Up. Today, he and his band have gained a lot of prominence with well-received performances at The Bowery in Myrtle Beach and in Florida.
