Two nationally known political commentator's to participate in FSU's and Pierpont's "Celebration of Ideas" lecture series

— Fairmont State University’s and Pierpont Community & Technical College’s Celebration of Ideas lecture series continues this Monday when two nationally known political commentators debate in the Turley Center Ballroom.

Bay Buchannon, a political commentator for CNN and adjunct professor of political communication at George Mason University, will square off in a debate against Roland S. Martin at 7 p.m. Martin is a nationally syndicated columnist, CNN contributor and host of the "Roland S. Martin Show" on WVON-AM/1690 in Chicago. He is also author of “Listening to the Spirit Within: 50 Perspectives on Faith” and “Speak, Brother! A Black Man’s View of America.” Buchannon is also a veteran of six presidential campaigns.
