Library comes to White Hall

WHITE HALL — The White Hall town council approved to partially fund a library book dispenser in the town.

White Hall will be receiving an always-open book dispenser that will be stocked with books from the Marion County Public Library’s selection. During the town council meeting, the White Hall town council agreed to pay $1,900 that would go towards the annual electric bill for the book dispenser.

Marion County Public Library director Erika Reed called the plans for the book dispenser as the “Book Nook Project” and described it as being “a Redbox on steroids.”
