Good Morning, Rivesville

Hope everyone is well.

News from the Town:

Congratulations to the following folks who won a seat in the recent town election.

Mayor: Yvonne Liberto. Council: Noelle Kolb, Michelle Bradley and Frank Morre. Thank you to all who took time out of their busy schedules to come out and vote. I would also like to thank the poll workers for giving up their day, which I am sure is a long one.

A reminder the town celebration will be held on Saturday, June 29 behind the town hall. There will be food, vendors, a bouncy house, a cake walk and games for the kids. There will also be raffle baskets, music and fireworks. I hope everyone will bring a chair and come enjoy some small-town fun.

In case you didn’t know, the Paw Paw Fair is right around the corner. If anyone is interested in being in the parade, please give Josh Speicher a call at (304) 376-5810. The parade is Tuesday, June 25 with the lineup beginning at 5 p.m. and the parade beginning at 6 p.m. I hope to see a lot of participants.

“To Mars and Beyond!”

Things are being done a little different this year. Both the program and the picnic will be held on Friday evening instead of Sunday morning.

Hopefully, that will allow more families and kids to come and join in the fun. For any questions, call Roxann at (304) 777-0540 or Autumn at (304) 534-0301. Hope to see you there.
