Summer is here! The fact that we’ve had summer weather off and on all through spring is for real.

We can hope we have periodic rain this summer but not as much as we’ve had this spring!

White Hall Kiwanis Club

The Kiwanis Club of White Hall will be meeting the 2nd Monday of July due to the 4th of July Holiday. Please plan to join us at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 8 at Bob Evans.

Book Sale

The Marion County Public Library at 321 Monroe Street in Fairmont, will have a book sale on June 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A bag of books may be purchased for $3. The sale will help fund programs of Friends of the Library.

White Hall Town Hall

The regular meeting will be held at the new Public Safety Building at 118 Tygart Mall Loop this evening at 7 p.m.

Mayor Guy Ward will open the ceremonies with the pledge of allegiance to the flag, prayer, call to order, roll call of officers, and approval of the minutes.

The treasurer and financial reports, communication, announcements, public hearing, and Public Safety Building reports are on the agenda.

The police, legal, maintenance/public works, and Town Coordinator are next on the agenda.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The public is cordially invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Town of White Hall Public Safety Building.

The ceremony will be Friday evening, June 28th at 3:30 p.m. at the new Public Safety Building at 118 Tygart Mall Loop.

There will be an open house an reception and guided tours immediately following the ceremony.


The Bookmobile is available in White Hall on Wednesday, at the Middletown Commons—9-10 a.m. (1st & 3rd week) and 10:30-11:30 a.m. (2nd & 4th week) near BB&T, and NASA IV & V, 12-1p.m. (back parking lot 1st and 3rd week) Library 366-1211.
