White Hall managed to miss the micro burst of 35 mile-per-hour winds that occured in Fairmont on Thursday. Everyone is thankful no one was lost in the storm.
The weather is now cooler and we had a great weekend with no rain.

Kendra’s Bar & Grill
The bar and grill at 3466 Fairmont Ave. is under new management as Kendra’s Bar & Grill. It is across from the White Hall Exxon station and Deerfield.
The Hot Spot and Bar is open and the Grill will be coming in a few weeks.
Free Fire Wood
Free poplar fire wood is available for pick-up on Apple Valley Road behind Apple Valley Golf Course.

Town of White Hall
Mayor John Michael will call the meeting to order with the pledge of allegiance, prayer, roll call of officers, and approval of the minutes. Treasurer and financial reports along with citizen’s concerns, and public hearing will follow.
Communications and announcements; Salvation Army Bell Ringing, and United Way employee involvement.
Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department reports. Police, legal, maintenance/public works reports, and town coordinator reports.

— Consider annexation of Deerfield
— Consideration of adoption by the Town of a Resolution which would provide the consent of the Town to the creation by the Marion County Commission of a property Tax Increment Financing District (TIF) in the vicinity of the Middletown Mall and surrounding area
