Locie Arlene Morris Robinson, 86, of Fairmont, died Sunday (June 8, 2008) at Wishing Well Manor.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1921, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Huey Crawford and Ursla Murtle Jarvis Morris.

She was married to the late Clarence Harding Robinson who passed away in June 2004.

Locie Arlene attended the Hillview Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, flower and vegetable gardening and playing card games. She loved roses. She was a homemaker and mother and had worked as a caregiver as well as various other jobs outside the home.

Locie Arlene is survived by her children: Richard Fisher and his wife Cheryl of Baxter, David Fisher and his wife Patricia of Fairmont, Delmarae Fisher and his wife Judy of Clarksburg, Linda Fisher Justice and her husband Gordon of Virginia, Ida Mae Fisher Pearce and her husband Harvey of North Carolina, Betty Robinson Finamore of Fairmont and Carson Robinson of Fairmont; her brothers Johnny and Joseph; her sister Mae; several grandchildren including Rodney Lee Fisher, Shannon Fisher, Martha Ann Fisher, David Lawrence Fisher, Jessica Arlene Pearce, Julia Ann Pearce, Dennis Guy Finamore Jr., Lisa Ann Finamore Blackwell, Angela Marie Finamore Holmes and Tina Renae Robinson; and several great-grandchildren including Kayla Andrick and Hope Blackwell.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Locie Arlene was preceded in death by her son, James Fisher, Jr.; her brothers, Moses, Early, Edward, Duey, and Dallas Odell; and her sisters, Mary, Audra, Edna and Goldie.

Friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Interment will immediately follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
