FAIRMONT — A 51-year-old Fairmont man was charged after he was allegedly found June 5 in Fairmont unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle and with multiple illegal drugs, according to a criminal complaint.

Court records show that Jon Michael Stevenski of Fairmont is charged with the felony offense of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver (Schedule I or II narcotic).

According to the court papers, a Fairmont Police Department patrolman was dispatched to Advance Auto Parts on Morgantown Avenue for a well-being check.

Upon arrival, the officer identified the suspect, Jon Stevenski, from previous dealings, the complaint states.

Stevenski was allegedly located unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle bearing a stolen West Virginia registration number, according to the complaint.

A search was then conducted, and it allegedly resulted in multiple individually packaged baggies containing illegal drugs including methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine base and marijuana, the complaint states.

The drugs were individually packaged for sale, according to the court papers.

Police said a large amount of cash including $100 bills, $20 bills, $5 bills and $1 bills was also allegedly found on Steveneski's person.

The complaint states that the mix of cash was allegedly consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics.

Court records show Stevenski's bail was set at $30,000, which was posted.
