Fairmont Senior’s swim squads put together another solid showing at West Virginia Wesleyan’s Splash Invitational on Saturday, taking third in both team events.

The Polar Bear girls piled up 82 team points, just behind runner-up Elkins (85) and team champ Buckhannon-Upshur (110).

On the boys’ side, first place Bridgeport (129) did enough to get past Elkins (87) and Fairmont Senior (73).

Brionna Minney led the way for the Polar Bears a week after winning a Big Ten title. The senior captured the 100 fly (1:05.15) and was fifth in the 50 free (26.26).
