Republican Russ Weeks says he isn't bitter about his lopsided loss to Democratic Gov. Joe Manchin in last week's election.

But it appears to be the former state senator's last campaign. Weeks says he's done with politics.

Manchin captured 70 percent of the vote, compared to Weeks' 26 percent. Mountain Party nominee Jesse Johnson received 4 percent.

Weeks says he's disappointed that the media ignored his campaign because Manchin had a huge advantage in fundraising. The latest campaign filings show Manchin had more than $901,700 on hand as of Oct. 19, while Weeks' balance was just below $13,000.
