Fairmont Post 17 continued to dominate at the Hillbilly Classic with a pair of wins Friday.

In the first game, Post 17 rallied for 10 runs over the final two innings to defeat Weirton, 13-10.

Matt Beerbower picked up the win in relief of starter Tyler Musgrave and Jason Gallagher.

Tommy Alvaro and Aaron Ford led the way offensivly in the first game. Ford was 5-5 with two RBI and a double and Alvaro drove in four on three hits, including a double. Alex Slusser was 3-for-4 with three RBI, Matt Lieving had three hits and a RBI and Brad Dodrill had a pair of hits and a RBI.

In the second game Post 17 pounded Buckhannon, 12-5.

Brad Dodrill was the winning pitcher. He threw five innings of three-hit ball.

Alvaro once again led the way at the plate. He had two hits, including a two-run homer, and four RBI. Ford and Slusser both had a pair of hits and a RBI and Dodrill and Nick Smith drove in runs.

Post 17 will have two games today, starting at West Virginia Wesleyan against Ceredo-Kenova.
